Kenton Grant — Technology Strategy Advisor

Clarity today.
Confidence for what’s next.

I help architecture, engineering, and design firms make clearer technology decisions — whether they are building the foundation, navigating growth, or realigning established teams, systems, and priorities.

I help architecture and engineering firms align technology, strategy, digital practice, leadership, and organizational change so your people, processes, and tools can work in concert - today and in the future you’re building.

What firms are navigating

Leaders are under pressure to do more—with less—and technology can be both the answer and the obstacle.

  • Disconnected strategy and technology

Tools and teams don’t align with business goals or deliver value.

  • Siloed workflows and inconsistent data

Information doesn’t flow, creating risk, rework, and lost time.

  • Adoption and change that stall

People resist change when the why isn’t clear—and support is missing.

  • Uncertain investments and ROI

It can be difficult to know where to focus and how to measure what matters.

Who I work with

Firm size matters less than what a firm is navigating. I work with architecture, engineering, and design firms at different stages of organizational and technology maturity.

Some are establishing clearer ownership, standards, and investment priorities for the first time. Others are coordinating established teams, systems, and leadership groups across a more complex practice.

How I work with firms

Every engagement is tailored to the firm's goals, size, pace, and capactiy, from focused assesments and strategic roadmaps to ongoing fractional technology leadership.

  1. Assess & Align

Clarify goals, assess capabilities, and align technology with business strategy.

  2. Strategize

Define the roadmap—priorities, investments, and governance for lasting impact.

  3. Mobilize

Translate the strategy into actionable initiatives, clear ownership, and internal capacity requirements.

  4. Adopt & Enable

Engage people, strengthen leadership, and drive adoption that sticks.

  5. Measure & Adapt

Track outcomes, learn from implementation, and adjust priorities as the organization evolves.

About Kenton

Technology leadership grounded in practice.

I began in project delivery—designing, documenting, modeling, coordinating, and helping teams use technology more effectively.

That practitioner foundation grew into strategic and firmwide leadership across Design Technology, IT, systems, governance, and organizational change. Today, I help architecture and engineering firms connect technology decisions to their business, people, and work.
